Arts EXPO! Planned for March
In an effort to encourage its member organizations to draw closer together the Anaheim Arts Council will turn its March General Meeting into an “arts expo”. Each member group will lay out its wares around the room and take time to share with each other what they do, and the problems they face.
The questions will be asked: Where are the common goals on which members could work together. Is there scope for joint fund-raising? What help do groups need to be more successful? And how can the Arts Council best support each member organization?
The gathering will be led by Jim Thomas, coordinator for arts from the Orange County Department of Education.
This promises to be a splendid occasion to share projects and missions. The meeting, open to the general public, gives a good opportunity for other Anaheim based arts organizations, and business people, to see the working of the AAC.
Thursday March 3rd, at 6pm in the Downtown Community Center. Refreshments provided.
