JC & Laney with special guest CEJ in concert

By Teri Trobridge, 2015-02-25

The Living Tradition Concert Series proudly presents JC & LANEY with special guest CEJ in concert on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 7:30 PM.

Having received airplay globally on major Internet Radio Stations (Pandora, Spotify, NPR, AMAZ, Indie Showcase), JC & Laney’s live performances are known for their spontaneous banter between themselves and their audience, remarkable harmonies, memorable original songs and acoustic folk-rock audiences never forget. JC Scott from Long Island, NY cut his teeth playing guitar & singing with musicians such as Arlo Guthrie, Lindsay Buckingham, Kenny Loggins & Weird Al before meeting Laney in 2009. Laney Greynolds is a powerhouse of emotion you must hear to believe. From 1988 to 2009 she was lead singer for the classic rock band "Saddletramp." JC&Laney Website

Cej is a singer, songwriter and guitarist who has been composing songs and instrumental pieces for 50+ years – most recently as lead guitarist with the Joel Rafael Band. His music is deeply rooted in the folk tradition and explores human relationships and experiences, blending folk sensibilities with blues, jazz, country, classical and popular song. His first solo recording, Sleepwalker in Paradise was named one of the Top Folk Albums of 2014 on folk DJ playlists as reported on folkradio.org. CEJ website
