WAND BBQ On The Horizon
It’s WAND's BBQ time again! The West Anaheim Neighborhood Development Council (WAND), is a non-profit group of dedicated residents working to improve the West Anaheim area, is hosting its 15th Annual Anaheim Western BBQ at Twila Reid Park on Saturday, May 14, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. WAND will be providing a full day of activities with the goal of drawing community members closer together.
The activities include a Ford Galaxies car show, craft faire, barbecue food, bingo, pony rides, children’s games and activities, entertainment by local community groups and more. They’re recruiting even more community participation and a larger audience this year than in previous years.
Each year, information booths by local organizations make up a key part of the event—connecting community members with community resources. As attendees pass through the park, they have a chance to see and interact with different community groups. WAND invites you to come join them and set up a booth. This is an excellent opportunity to distribute your material. There is no charge for your booth.
Please take a moment to review the Application Form (including details about your booth) and liability form. To confirm your participation in the barbecue, please return the enclosed forms ASAP. Priority of location will be given based on return of the completed form.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact WAND. You can reach event coordinator, Carol Latham at email@example.com or (714) 774 - 3724 or BBQ Event Chairman, Pat Kotter at firstname.lastname@example.org or (714) 827 – 7162 or the WAND Chairman, Esther Wallace at email@example.com or (714) 609-8070. You may also print out the form at www.wandcouncil.org.
We look forward to teaming up with you for the 15th Annual Western BBQ!
