Did the News Disappear?

Our website is in its infancy! We are still figuring out the best ways to use it. I can see that members are having a few problems with the technology. For instance, creating a new membership seems daunting. It can't really be made much easier - but I will make a video explaining how to create your membership.
The same with entering your own calendar events. I could do that for you, but someone from your group needs to master the basic skills for this. Then our calendar will begin to hum.
What about news? Two things. First, once you have a membership you can log and enter your own news items - just like I'm doing right now. You may also upload pictures.
But secondly you can simply send your news to me, with any pictures you want to use, and I'll post the news for you. Easy.
I wish I had the time to be the arts journalist for Anaheim, but clearly that's not going to happen. We need you to share the community news that comes your way
One last thing. Sometimes news seems to disappear. Though not really. When news hits its expiry date it gets "parked" on the left of the news page on which it belongs with a small, blue hyperlink. Click the link and the news story will appear again!
\And the front page of the site may suddenly seem rather naked, and that's because everything expired.
So help me out folks. Send me arts news, or member organization news and we can have a far better throughput of ever-changing and stimulating material.
