Arts Council Theatre Night Out

By Michael Buss, 2013-04-08
The Arts Council Theatre Night Out will be on April 11th.

The show – Alfred Hitchcock’s “The 39 Steps” – is an amazing new production in which over 150 characters are played by just four actors. Fast, furious-paced, funny, this is wonderful all round family entertainment.

The Plot: A man with a boring life meets a woman with a thick accent who says she's a spy. When he takes her home, she is murdered. Soon, a mysterious organization called "The 39 Steps" is hot on the man's trail in a nationwide manhunt that climaxes in a death-defying finale! A riotous blend of virtuoso performances and wildly inventive stagecraft, The 39 Steps amounts to an unforgettable evening of pure pleasure! The 39 Steps, was Broadway's longest running comedy, and played its 500th performance on Broadway, May 19th, 2009!

There are not many other shows to which we could happily invite everyone and know that nobody will be offended. As you know, theatre can sometimes be edgy and not all want to go.

Thirdly, we have the amazing offer from our friends at The Stage Door Repertory Theatre to open the doors and perform JUST FOR US and our friends, and they will donate the entire proceeds of the evening to the Anaheim Arts Council. This theatre has been open for little more than a year and is already getting great reviews for its great productions.

ORDER TICKETS HERE.

THANK YOU to Nick Charles - a member of the AAC Board - and his band of actors for being so generous!! If we grasp this opportunity we can all see a great show, and the Arts Council gets over $1,000 in one night.
