Aliens in Anaheim Again
There is no getting away from it – artists seem to love aliens. And when the next exhibition opens at the Center Gallery, Rich Governali will bring his own luminescent flare to the addiction with his Fine Art Photography.
The exhibition will open on February 9th with a reception in the Center Gallery, 250 E. Center Street, Anaheim at 6pm, where you will be able to meet the artist.
Rich says: I grew up in Anaheim, CA in the 1960’s surrounded by strawberry fields and the aroma of condensing orange juice from the Sunkist plant just a few miles from my home. My first camera was a gift from my aunt and uncle in the late 60’s. I became the school photographer at Dale Jr. High from 1975-1977 under the guidance of John W. Lehman.
I also did some work for Magnolia High’s year book while I attended school there from 1977-1980. I earned my BSEE from DeVry Institute of Technology in 1983. I shot using film in the 90’s and switched to digital around the turn of the millennium.
Today I shoot using a Nikon D700 and an infrared converted Nikon D80.
