Any uncertainty about the future of the promised Anaheim Performing Arts Center was put to rest on February 21st at a gathering of some seventy local decision makers in the home of Dr. Howard Knohl. The purpose was to share the current progress towards the realization of the Arts Center.
Past and present Anaheim Council Members mixed with executives from local non-profits, prominent Orange County businessmen, and arts representatives. A number of millionaires were scattered around the room. After a satisfying dinner Dr. Knohl delivered a presentation complete with animated renderings of the new facility.
The APAC Foundation has a Non-Compete agreement with the City of Anaheim to complete the plans and raise the money for the Center over a period of 4 year. This means that no other options will be considered by the City unless the project fails.
